Temecula is home base. I live here, and I have designed yards across this valley since 1996, from small tract backyards to wine country estates. You see your yard in 3D before anything is built, and the same licensed company designs it and builds it.
Most Temecula homes are served by Rancho California Water District, and some by Eastern Municipal Water District. Turf replacement rebates through SoCal WaterSmart have been available here; check your district for current amounts before you remove a lawn.
Most newer Temecula neighborhoods have an HOA that must approve landscape plans before work starts. I prepare the drawings for the submittal. Pools, patio covers and taller retaining walls also need City of Temecula permits, which I plan for in the schedule.
Every yard is different, so the honest answer starts with your lot. For typical ranges on pools, patios, covers, kitchens and front yards in this area, see what this actually costs, or compare surfaces in pavers vs. concrete.
Every design concept includes an honest budget range for your yard, so you know where you stand before anyone bids.

Yes. Larger lots are a different kind of design: views, slopes, longer utility runs and more planting. The 3D model is especially useful there because it lets you walk the whole property before anything is graded.
It varies by HOA. Many take a few weeks. A complete, drawn submittal usually moves faster than a sketch, which is why I prepare one.
Yes. A front yard with new walks, drive bands, drought-tolerant planting and lighting is a common first project, and a design concept covers it.
Every project can start with a no-cost design concept: a layout plan, a 3D view and an honest budget. It takes about a minute to request, or you can text DESIGN to (951) 428-8843.
