Landscape design and build in Murrieta.

Murrieta yards range from new-home backyards to hillside lots and horse property. I design them from Temecula, ten minutes down the road. You see your yard in 3D before anything is built, and the same licensed company designs it and builds it.

Water, permits and HOAs in Murrieta

Murrieta is served by several water districts, including Eastern Municipal, Western Municipal and Rancho California, depending on where you live. Your water bill tells you which one. Turf replacement rebates have been offered through SoCal WaterSmart; check your district for current amounts.

Many Murrieta neighborhoods have HOAs that review landscape plans. I prepare the drawings for the submittal. Pools, patio covers and retaining walls over the height limit need City of Murrieta permits.

What it costs

Every yard is different, so the honest answer starts with your lot. For typical ranges on pools, patios, covers, kitchens and front yards in this area, see what this actually costs, or compare surfaces in pavers vs. concrete.

Every design concept includes an honest budget range for your yard, so you know where you stand before anyone bids.

How it works

  1. Design concept. Send a few details and photos. You get a layout plan, a 3D view and an honest budget range.
  2. Site visit. I measure the yard, check grading, drainage and utilities, and talk through what you want.
  3. Full 3D design. Walk through your new yard, day and night, and make changes before anything is built.
  4. We build it. One point of contact from the first sketch to the final walkthrough, with pools built by our licensed pool partners and a 5-year craftsmanship warranty on our work.

Questions people ask me

Can you make my sloped backyard more usable?

Often, yes. Terracing with retaining walls can add flat space for a patio, lawn or pool. The 3D design shows you how much room you gain before you spend money on walls.

Do you work on acreage?

Yes. On larger lots I plan the whole property so the first phase fits with what you want to build later.

Can I phase the project?

Yes. Many clients build the hardscape and utilities first and add a kitchen or cover later. The plan shows every phase so nothing has to be torn out.
