How it works

  1. Your concept and budget, at no cost. Leave your preferred contact and tell us what you'd like. We reply that way and ask for a few photos of your yard. Justin, our lead designer, sends back views of your own yard by day and night, a low-water plant list and a line-by-line budget range. Because they're made from your photos, they show direction and cost. Justin measures your yard at the site visit.
  2. A site measure and design consult, also complimentary. If you like the ideas, Justin comes out to measure your yard and talk it through with you.
  3. Your full design. If you want to move forward, Justin draws your yard to scale in 3D, with views and a video walkthrough, so you can see every detail before anything is built. Custom design starts at $1,000.
  4. Then we build it. The same licensed company builds your design, with a proposal built around your budget, and your design fee is credited toward construction.

Hi, I'm Justin.

I've been designing Southern California yards since 1996. We design it, then we build it, as a licensed C-27 contractor, with pools and spas built by our licensed pool partners: one point of contact from the first sketch to the final walkthrough.

I put these concepts together at no cost because nobody likes guessing what a backyard will cost. You get a real plan and clear numbers up front, and if they make sense for your family, we talk about next steps.

Why is the concept at no cost?
Because nobody likes guessing what a backyard will cost. We use modern design tools to show ideas for your own yard quickly, before anyone measures or drafts anything, so you can see what's possible and what it might cost before you spend money. There's no obligation to go further.

Who designs it?
Justin, who has been designing Southern California yards since 1996, with plants that do well here and a budget based on what projects actually cost in this area.
